An additional burden of Rs 20,000 crore will be incurred
According to an estimate, after the implementation of the seventh pay commission, the additional burden of Rs 20,000 crore on the treasury of the Maharashtra government will increase. Let us tell you that the government employees in Maharashtra were demanding salary for a long time according to the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. However, it is yet to be clarified when the pay rise will be effective. In some media reports, salary increases are being said to be effective from January 2019. On the other hand, in some reports, employees are being asked to give the last three years of the arrears.
Earlier, in October, the Bihar government increased the dearness allowance / relief rate of 9% from state employees, pensioners and family pensioners to 9%. Bizarre rates have been applied to July 1, 2018. After this decision, there was an additional burden of Rs 419 crore on the treasury of the Bihar government. The news came a few days back that the Canto government could give gifts to its employees as soon as possible. Employees' promotion can be simplified from April 1, 2019.
